Amazing as Lotus did back in the early 90’s, the head gaskets still remain a weak link. unfortunately head gasket failure can be a big worry during ownership. However with our uprated 1.5mm MLS (multi-layer Steel) gasket you needent worry any longer. coupled with arp head studs put all your worries to rest forever.

Made to the highest quality these gaskets produced by Victor Reinz and Ajusa are a sure way to stop that pesky oil leak from the Sump ! coupled with a smear of Reinzosil That leak will be a thing of the past.

Coupled with our cam cover gasket youll be sure to have many many leak free miles ahead of you. generally we look to replace these when the ones we take off an engine do not spring back to a circle after being squished. This is a sign that the elasticity of the seals are starting to fail and therefor wont be able to compress as well when tightening the cam cover back down. no bother weve got you covered.

This Crank seal is located at the back of the block inside the rear crank shaft bearing housing. tell tail signs of a leaking rear oil seal is a smaller drip of oil on the bottom of the sump / bell housing where they both meet. Renember these seals are directional so bare that in mind if ordering a generic seal elsewhere.

the earth strap between the engine and chassis plays a huge role in not only keeping your engine and most sensors connected to the battery ground it also plays a role when it comes to starting the engine as the starter motor uses the engine as a ground so a worn earth strap could cause slow cranking or even no crank situations. swap it out for our brand new direct replacements and worry no longer !

A brand new set of 3x long and 3x short shiney water pump bolts to get rid of the old possibly rusty ones on your engines water pump currently. whether your replacing them as you hve lost a few or your just having a freshen up these bolts are perfect for you !

the reproduction intake manifold gaskets are identicl to the original GM gaskets however some of the oem gaskets had inconsistencies on the surface of the plasic centre spacer and this caused air leaks, happy to say these gaskets are A1 and ready to go !

Sandwiched between the chain cover and the oil filter housing is this o-ring, so if you have taken your front timing casing apart to clean it up and you have miss placed this ring, fear not we have them !

With the OEM head studs being no longer available. This head stud kit is a great choice when it comes to cylinder head fastening, .as long as these studs and nuts are undamaged in anyway they are completely reusable unlike your conventional Stetch to Yield Head bolts.

Cam cover gasket to suite the 24v gsi and Lotus Carlton / Omega engines. these reproductions are perfect replacement to the original which sadly over time would of gotten rigid and stopped sealing. if your replacing this gasket why not replace the spark well seals while your at it !

when changing out the waterpump it is improtant to renember the gasket ! the old one would have probably come off in pieces or you probably had to even cut some of the old one off of the mating surfaces with a blade, this reproduction will fit like a glove amd save you the time consuming task of cutting one out by hand or even using that pesky rtv again.

Did you know theres a seal that is supposed to go in between the thermostat housing and the head ? not many people know they actually exist so we have to use rtv or a paper gasket, fear not we have stock of the original rubber seal that sits pretty in that lovely groove on the thermostat housing to head mating surface.

Have you got a beautiful sounding engine but find that it smokes under decel, then you have worn Valve stem oil seals and this kit is for you ! even if your valve stem seals arent letting by if your taking the cyllinder head off it is still a worthwhile job getting them replaced.

have you had to take the sprocket plate off for a timing check , to replace the chains or even the secondary hydraulic tensioner, put the RTV down and just buy a new one here.

at the front of the engine behind the trigger wheel and crank pulley lies one of the 2 seals most prone to leak and these are the crank seals. Both available right here at L.A.Motorsport!

Alot of people in the early days of Vauxhall Carlton 24v ownership reported that they had engine failure due to weak chains that snapped, the LC shares the same set of chains as its 24v 3.0 older sister after all it is technically the same head with minor changes, if it can happen to the c30se it could also happen to your beloved c36get. why take that risk when you can get uprated chains here !

Have you noticed a small pool of water on the floor under the front of the engine bay area this could be the water pump! our brand new water pumps are a perfect direct replacement and up to the task of keeping these amazing machines cool even on the hotter days ! please note these pumps do not come with an impellar and require your Lotus one pressed on as Lotus spec impellars are larger in diametre and deeper.
